Chicken and Rice

Ingredients

1 chicken
8 chicken livers
2 cups rice
1 bullion cube
Season to taste with:
salt
pepper
celery salt
onion salt
basil

Instructions

Boil chicken and livers together with seasonings.  When done debone chicken and remove livers; pour broth into container.  Measure out 5 cups broth add back to pot; add rice, livers, and deboned chicken; bring to boil.  Reduce heat to low and cover; cook until rice is done.  Add more broth if necessary.

Serve with corn on the cob and fried cornbread!
